Hi my name Benjamin Jacobs is That is me in the tank I am the driver of these big machines that is what I enlisted in the army. The reason why we got involed in the army is because germany attacked us and we have to fight back or we will be pushed out of this war. The conditions in the war are terrifying the food is old and smells really bad. It smells bad in the trenches and in the tanks, but im mostly in a tank unless im trying to get a little bit of sleep but that is hard to do because of all of the gun shots and bombs going off life here is horrible. The Archduke was assasinated by the black hand gang that is the reason why this whole world war started also Germany invaded belgim and have reached us man i hope God is with us he is the only one that can help us in this war we all need to pray for this war and my dear friend Frederick Vonstian he has multiple gun shot wounds i hope this war ends soon Russia exited the war ecause i thnk that it was getting to be to much for them then Germany bombed a ship that they thought was carrying amunition to th allies bu i wa just carrying amarican citezens then America intercepted a letter called the Zimmerman leader that talked abou how Germany was going to help Mexico get what is now called New Mexico back and they were going to do this by fighting America and then thats when America decided to join in the world war on the allies side. This could help us out big time the allide forces now have a better chance at wining this world war. We spent Christmas eve shareing chocolate and food with the axis side of the war we also even played soccer with them it reminded me of home then I started to wish that I was there because im actually strting to get scared of dieing but I have faith in God and he will get me through this war and hard times
